Cory Haas fifth at Williams Grove Speedway; BAPS start on deck

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, Pa. (June 4, 2018) - Keeping his recent success streak alive at the world-famous half-mile, York's own Cory Haas finished fifth at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday evening, June 1, improving one position after starting sixth on the feature grid. Haas, who owns one victory at The Grove thus far in 2018, is now seventh in the track championship standings entering the new weekend, less than 200 points outside of the top-five.

Unfortunately for Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports, Mother Nature kept the weekend from continuing, now with six straight cancellations in the Pigeon Hills.

"It's tough to build any momentum when we don't get to race," Cory Haas said, driver of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/Eagle Evergreens/Bricker's/DMI/Bulldog Rear Ends/York PB Truss/No. 39 sprint car. "It is what it is at this point. All we can hope for now is a dry spell so we can get some busy weekends under our belt."

"I can't thank John Trone, my family, and all of our supporters enough for the hard work this season," Haas continued. "It feels good to keep the consistency going. The track was nice at Williams Grove on Friday. We were able to move around quite a bit. Hopefully we can keep that top-ten streak alive this weekend during all three planned starts."

If all goes according to plan, Cory Haas will make three Central Pennsylvania starts during the upcoming weekend, first visiting BAPS Motor Speedway near York Haven on Thursday, June 7, for the Kevin Gobrecht Classic, followed by routine visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on Friday and Saturday, June 8-9, respectively.

Haas earns Tommy Hinnershitz start, back in the top-five at Lincoln Speedway

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, Pa. (April 16, 2018) - Cory Haas represented his Central Pennsylvania fanbase well on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway, not only qualifying for the Tommy Hinnershitz Memorial main event against the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1, but also earning a heat race victory in the process.

Haas, a recent main event winner at Williams Grove Speedway during weekly competition, finished 13th during the Hinnershitz Memorial finale, bettering most of the 46 cars entered for the $5,000-to-win showstopper.

Carrying his momentum over into the rest of the weekend, Cory Haas continued his recent success story by recording a top-five finish during action at the "Fabulous" Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, April 14. The former Kevin Gobrecht Memorial champion finished fourth in the Pigeon Hills which propelled his top-five total to four thus far in 2018.

"It feels good to finally have some momentum on our side," Cory Haas explained, who pilots the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/Trone Outdoor Advertising/Eagle Evergreens/Bricker's/No. 39 sprint car. "Earning a victory last weekend at The Grove did wonders for our confidence. Now that we have some confidence, everything else just seems to click a little bit easier. We were decent against the All Stars on Friday. With so many cars, just qualifying for the A-main is an accomplishment in itself. Even on Saturday, things were going well at Lincoln Speedway. All-in-all, I couldn't be more pleased right now. We want to keep this rolling right into next weekend."

Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports will continue action on Friday and Saturday, April 20-21, with routine visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, respectively.

Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports debut 2018 schedule

By Fully Injected Motorsports:
YORK, Pa. (February 12, 2018) - It will be "business as usual" for Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports in 2018, debuting a racing schedule comprised of 76 events stretched throughout much of Central Pennsylvania. Kicking-off the season with the annual "Icebreaker 30" at Lincoln Speedway, Haas and car owner, John Trone, molded their upcoming plans around regular action at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, all while mixing in occasional visits to the Port Royal Speedway "Speed Palace" and BAPS Motor Speedway.

"We're pretty excited about the new year," Haas explained, pilot of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports, Eagle Steel and Trone Outdoor Advertising-backed, No. 39. "It's pretty much 'business as usual' for us this year, but we went ahead and mixed in some visits to Port Royal Speedway - more than last year. Things have been pretty busy in the shop. The 'Icebreaker 30' at Lincoln [Speedway] is pretty good at sneaking up on us. We'll be ready."

In addition, Haas, who finished tenth in the final Central PA Sprint Series presented by Hoseheads.com championship standings in 2017, will join the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series and the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 for a combined 16 starts in 2018. The York native earned top-five performances against each of the traveling series in 2017, all highlighted with a podium run against Tony Stewart's All Stars at Lincoln Speedway, and a fifth place finish against the Greatest Show On Dirt during one of two National Open preliminaries at Williams Grove Speedway.

"We have the potential to make a lot of noise, and we've proved that. John Trone gives us the equipment necessary to be competitive. We just have to put it all together," Haas continued. "I can't thank my team and my family enough for their hard work and support over the years. We're due for a few wins so I think that's number one on our agenda."

Cory Haas earns All Star podium at Lincoln Speedway

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, PA (August 22, 2017) - Securing his ninth Lincoln Speedway top-five finish of the 2017 season, York's own Cory Haas scored a podium run against the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions on Saturday, August 19. The pilot of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/Eagle Steel/York PB Truss/No. 39 finished third, officially, against "America's Series" in the Pigeon Hills, maintaining a top-three position during the entire 30-lap program after starting on the point. Haas qualified for the $5,000-to-win main event by finishing second during heat race competition.

In addition to his podium performance, Cory Haas finished 15th against the Arctic Cat All Stars at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, August 18. Haas has qualified for four Arctic Cat All Star main events in 2017.

"We were a little too free on Saturday," Haas said. "We were actually a lot better in traffic. We needed that last green flag run to go the rest of the distance. I thought we had something for Glenndon (Forsythe), but I didn't get quite aggressive enough on those restarts. Regardless, we're happy with this finish. We've been close a few times this year at Lincoln. Our turn is coming soon."

Kicking off a busy stretch of schedule that includes back-to-back three-race weekends in Central Pennsylvania, Cory Haas will continue his 2017 campaign with three events in three days stretching from Friday, August 25, to Sunday, August 27. The second generation racer will visit Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway and Trail-Way Speedway, respectively, during his upcoming triple-header, launching the weekend with a Yellow Breeches 500 program at "The Grove" on Friday night.

"I can't thank everyone enough for this opportunity," Cory Haas explained. "We continue to get better and better and that is really motivating. Like I said before, we've been so close to getting that first win of the year. We'd love to add a mark in the 'w-column' this weekend."

Cory Haas and John Trone would like to thank all of their marketing partners including: Eagle Steel, Trone Outdoor Advertising, Eagle Evergreens, Bricker's, DMI, Bulldog Rear Ends, York PB Truss, Maxim Chassis, Connecticut Oil Kings, KSE, Wings Unlimited, QA1 Shocks, Creekside Auto Sales, and Fully Injected Motorsports.

Haas and Trone still looking for improvement with time trials

YORK, PA  - The Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek format puts the utmost importance on time trials and Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports are still searching for answers with qualifying.

"When you qualify bad, it makes for very long nights," Haas said about his Speedweek performance.

"That was my first trip to Port in four years. I will definitely be back," Haas said as he praised the Port Royal track surface on his final night of Speedweek.

With the World of Outlaws invasion in two weeks, Williams Grove will run a time trial show for the locals to test and tune one last time before the Outlaws come to town. In May during the World of Outlaws last visit, the travelling group swept the Pennsylvania locals. Lincoln will return to a regular handicap show.

"We'll be back at The Grove, Lincoln, and if things go okay, Susky on Sunday," Haas said about his upcoming weekend plans.

Cory Haas and John Trone would like to thank all of their marketing partners including: Eagle Steel, Trone Outdoor Advertising, Eagle Evergreens, Bricker's, DMI, Bulldog Rear Ends, York PB Truss, Maxim Chassis, Connecticut Oil Kings, KSE, Wings Unlimited, QA1 Shocks, Creekside Auto Sales, and Fully Injected Motorsports.

Plans on six PASpeedweek dates

YORK, PA (June 27, 2017) – Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports have shown speed all year at the Lincoln Speedway and this past Saturday was no exception. Unfortunately something else that has been synonymous with Haas at Lincoln is being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

At the outset of his heat race, the row in front of him got together giving Haas absolutely nowhere to go, sending the Trone #39 off on the hook with damage to the front end. Lining up 22nd for the 25-lap feature, Haas continued to show his speed by charging to fifth for this sixth top-five finish of the year in the Pigeon Hills.

Pennsylvania Speedweek looms next for Haas and the team plans on hitting six events, both at Lincoln and Williams Grove Speedways as well as two trips to Port Royal for the first time this year. "If all goes well early in the week, we'd like to get up to Port," Haas said. "We've had speed all year, now we just need to put complete nights together starting with a good time trial lap," Haas said in anticipation of the grueling week.

Cory Haas and John Trone would like to thank all of their marketing partners including: Eagle Steel, Trone Outdoor Advertising, Eagle Evergreens, Bricker's, DMI, Bulldog Rear Ends, York PB Truss, Maxim Chassis, Connecticut Oil Kings, KSE, Wings Unlimited, QA1 Shocks, Creekside Auto Sales, and Fully Injected Motorsports.

Haas Racks Up Another Top-Five at Lincoln
Three-Race Weekend Ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports
Contact: Anthony Corini

YORK, PA  - In what has all but become expected, Haas lined up in the last row of his heat races at both Williams Grove and Lincoln. "We were able to shove it through the heat race at Lincoln, not at the Grove," Haas said following the weekend. Shove is an accurate term. Haas made an impressive and bold move entering turn three underneath two cars to move into the final handicap spot on Saturday night.

In the feature, Haas continued to showcase consistency coming from eighth to fifth. "Lincoln's track was good, we just couldn't get to the front fast enough," Haas said. Haas is currently second in the Lawrence Chevrolet point standings at Lincoln heading into this weekend.

At Williams Grove, Haas came forward from 16th to 12th on a trying surface. Haas and the Trone Outdoor Motorsports team will be in action three times this weekend starting at Susquehanna Thursday, and then the usual starts at Williams Grove and Lincoln.

Cory Haas and John Trone would like to thank all of their marketing partners including: Eagle Steel, Trone Outdoor Advertising, Eagle Evergreens, Bricker's, DMI, Bulldog Rear Ends, York PB Truss, Maxim Chassis, Connecticut Oil Kings, KSE, Wings Unlimited, QA1 Shocks, Creekside Auto Sales, and Fully Injected Motorsports.

YORK, PA (May 3, 2017) - Cory Haas and the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/No. 39 team were one of forty-five Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions teams to compete at the famed Williams Grove Speedway. Haas timed 17th overall, good enough for third in his group, which would line him up on the front row of his heat race alongside NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart. Haas safely finished second in his heat, which qualified him for the dash and subsequently started him 10th in the 30-lap feature. Come feature time, the track was worn out and there was little movement. Haas crossed the line 11th.

"We were consistent all night. It was good to be competitive with so many good cars in the pits," Haas said in regards to Friday night's action.

Saturday, Haas and the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/No. 39 team headed back to the Lincoln Speedway to compete in the Weldon Sterner Memorial that paid a cool $6,900 to win. Haas timed in sixth quick, finished second in his heat and seventh in the feature. "It wasn't a bad weekend overall. We time trialed a little better, but we need to get better in that category especially when the Outlaws are here."

Haas and the Trone team will prepare for a three-race weekend that sees the regular stops at Williams Grove, Lincoln, as well as a return trip to Susquehanna Speedway. Sunday's program at Susquehanna will pay $4,800 to win, $480 to start in honor of the late Kevin Gobrecht's 48th birthday.

YORK, PA  - Haas and John Trone's Trone Outdoor Motorsports scored a season-best runner-up finish at Williams Grove. Haas fended off furious challenges from Matt Campbell and Lucas Wolfe to maintain the lead before succumbing to race winner Freddie Rahmer on lap 24. Haas led 23 laps and crossed the line .334 seconds behind Rahmer.

Haas, although dejected he couldn't pick up the win for John Trone, acknowledged the progress and speed the team has made. "I just wanted to get the win for these guys. They deserve it. We'll come back next weekend and try and build on it," Haas said. Saturday night's racing action at Lincoln Speedway was cancelled due to weather.

Haas and the rest of the Williams Grove regulars will host Tony Stewart's Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions Friday as the invaders will try and end a 30-race drought to the "Pennsylvania Posse" at the famous ½ mile. "I'm looking forward to running with the All Stars. They always bring a good amount of cars and it will be a good measuring stick for us," Haas said about the upcoming weekend.

Haas will return to the Lincoln Speedway for the annual Weldon Sterner Memorial that pays a whopping $6,900 to win.

Haas and Trone look ahead after tough weekend

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, PA (April 11, 2017) - It's mid-April and Williams Grove has had 4 rainouts, with only 1 race in the books. This is preventing a lot of teams from getting into a rhythm, especially new teams like Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports. Haas was given the opportunity to race twice this weekend; competing at Lincoln Speedway and the sprint car opener at Susquehanna Speedway.

Luck of the pill draw would have Haas start last in both of his heat races this weekend. "I can't control that stuff. It all evens out over the course of the season. We just have to be a little better and it won't matter," Haas said. He's right about only needing a little improvement as Haas was able to drive up to fifth and sixth in his heat races this weekend. Haas was scored 12th at Lincoln and 13th at SSP.

"It was a frustrating weekend for sure. We battled through our problems. I'm looking forward to next week. This is a great group of guys," Haas stated.

On tap, Williams Grove will try once again to battle Mother Nature while Lincoln Speedway hosts its annual Spring Championship featuring time trials for the first time this season and a cool $5,000 payday to the feature winner.

Haas, pilot of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/ Eagle Steel/ Trone Outdoor Advertising/ Eagle Evergreens/ Bricker's/ DMI/ Bulldog Rear Ends/ York PB Truss/ No. 39, will be in action both nights this weekend.

Recent Highlights: Earned feature win at Williams Grove Speedway during "Billy Kimmel Memorial" on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Finished fourth in 2016 Lincoln Speedway track championship chase. Earned two consecutive top-ten finishes at Lincoln Speedway on February 26 and March 25.

Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports Continue to Show Speed

By Fully Injected Motorsports

YORK, PA (April 3, 2017) -  Williams Grove lost yet another race to rain which meant Cory Haas and the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/No. 39 team would only get the opportunity to race at the Lincoln Speedway this past weekend.

The speed continued for Haas as he piloted the Trone car into a heat race finish good enough to make the handicap for the feature. Haas was well on his way to his 3rd consecutive top-10 finish in the Pigeon Hills before contact with another competitor sent the No. 39 car spinning on the backstretch with front end damage.

"That's always a tough way to have our night come to an end, but the car was good again. We need to work harder and get a little better," Haas said.

It's been tough to get into a rhythm for the Haas team as local racing has only had one full weekend of competition as the season approaches mid-April.

"We will be at Williams Grove and Lincoln as usual, and if things go well, we'd like to run Susky, too," Haas stated in regards to this upcoming weekend.

Haas, pilot of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/ Eagle Steel/ Trone Outdoor Advertising/ Eagle Evergreens/ Bricker's/ DMI/ Bulldog Rear Ends/ York PB Truss/ No. 39 is looking forward to the opportunity for a potential three-race weekend.

Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports battle bad luck at Williams Grove; Hard charge at Lincoln en route to second straight top-10.
By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, PA. (March 27, 2017) - Three races into the 2017 season and Cory Haas and John Trone are already showing signs of speed. After a strong podium run in the Icebreaker 30, Haas was well on his way to another strong run Friday during Williams Grove's season opener before rear-end problems forced him to scratch from the evening.

Haas was strong in his heat race Friday evening, racing hard with Dale Blaney before settling in to 2nd, easily good enough to make the redraw at the front of the feature. Haas was scheduled to start 11th after the feature redraw but was forced to pull in before the green flag flew.

"Obviously, not the way we wanted to end our first night at The Grove, but that stuff happens; we showed a lot of speed," Haas explained.

At Lincoln Speedway, Haas and the Trone Outdoor Motorsports team finished 5th in their heat race, which would line them up 18th in the 25-lap feature. Haas was on the move from the get-go as he charged to 8th for his second consecutive top-10 finish in the Pigeon Hills.

"We were probably a little better than where we finished, but we'll take the top-ten and move forward. We are still a new team that's trying to gel everything together. I can't thank John Trone enough."

Haas, pilot of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/ Eagle Steel/ Trone Outdoor Advertising/ Eagle Evergreens/ Bricker's/ DMI/ Bulldog Rear Ends/ York PB Truss/ No. 39, will return to both the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway this weekend and will be looking to build on this past week's speed.

Cory Haas pilots Trone Outdoor Motorsports to podium finish during Lincoln Icebreaker
By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, PA (February 26, 2017)- Despite a near-five hour weather delay comprised of wet weather, high winds and hail, Cory Haas' Trone Outdoor Motorsports debut proved to be a successful venture; finishing third during Lincoln Speedway's annual Icebreaker 30 season opener on Saturday, February 25. Haas, a former main event winner in the Pigeon Hills, qualified for the 30-lap main event after finishing fourth during heat race competition; an automatic feature redraw position which placed the York native on the inside of row five.

"That was some crazy weather we had, but still, a great way to start the year," Cory Haas explained. "Not too many issues for our team. Sometimes you have to work out some kinks on opening night, but that wasn't the case for us. Jim had the car working well for the way the track was. I can't thank the entire team enough. We are already excited for next week."

Haas, pilot of the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/ Eagle Steel/ Trone Outdoor Advertising/ Eagle Evergreens/ Bricker's/ DMI/ Bulldog Rear Ends/ York PB Truss/ No. 39, will return to the "Fabulous" Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, March 4, for the second of three 2:00pm programs.

Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports to make debut during Lincoln Icebreaker
By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, PA (February 22, 2017) - Central Pennsylvania open wheel competitor Cory Haas will make his Trone Outdoor Motorsports debut this Saturday afternoon during Lincoln Speedway's annual Icebreaker 30; Pennsylvania's first, as well as the Northeast's first, sprint car program of the season. Haas, a former Kevin Gobrecht Memorial winner at the Abbottstown oval, hopes to make his debut aboard the Trone Outdoor Motorsports/ Eagle Steel/ Trone Outdoor Advertising/ Eagle Evergreens/ Bricker's/ DMI/ Bulldog Rear Ends/ York PB Truss/ No. 39 a memorable experience and snag the Icebreaker 30 top prize equaling that of $4,000.

"We are all pretty excited to get the season started," Cory Haas explained. "I can't thank John Trone enough for this opportunity. Things came together pretty quickly, but we are ready to go. We are hoping for great things this season. A perfect scenario would be to kick off the year with a victory during the Icebreaker. That is what we are working for."

Cory Haas is certainly no stranger to competition at the "Fabulous" Lincoln Speedway, finishing fourth in the final track championship standings twice during the last three seasons. Similar to years past, Haas will circle between events at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway during his upcoming campaign, with additional plans to visit surrounding facilities such as Port Royal Speedway and Susquehanna Speedway; a schedule boasting 60-65 events during the next eight months.

"I haven't been this excited to race in a long time," Cory Haas said. "We are heading into the weekend pressure-free. We know we have the potential to be fast right from the drop of the gate, so we'll put that mentality to good use on Saturday. This sport is all about momentum and having a positive attitude. We plan to make both of those a reality right from the start."

The newly formed combination will also enter select events at Susquehanna Speedway and Port Royal Speedway; decisions to be made as the season progresses.

We hope to race upwards of 65 times, but we'll take things one week at a time and see what we can do."

"I think we have the potential to be successful in 2017," Haas said. "It will take us a few weeks to get ourselves on the right track and get acclimated with each other, but I think once we are beyond that, we'll be in great shape. I'm excited for the new year and what it has in store."

Cory Haas and Mike Barshinger Part Ways,  Haas searching for other opportunities
YORK, PA. (October 25, 2016) - Effective immediately, Cory Haas and car owner Mike Barshinger have parted ways, ending a near-ten year relationship on the Central Pennsylvania sprint car circuit. Haas, a former Jack Gunn Memorial, Kevin Gobrecht Memorial and Billy Kimmel Memorial champion with Mike Barshinger's 11C program, will now search for other opportunities within Central Pennsylvania.

"First of all, I want to thank Mike Barshinger, Jason Barshinger and the entire crew for the opportunity the last several years. We accomplished a lot as a team, and I am very thankful for that, but we've decided to go different routes and try new things," Cory Haas said. "Right now, I am looking for some other options for the upcoming season. I'm open for discussion and anxious to enter 2017 with a fresh start."

Cory Haas finished inside the top-five in two different track championship chases in 2016; fourth at Lincoln Speedway and fifth at Williams Grove Speedway. Not counting National Open competition against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, Haas ended his weekly campaign at Williams Grove Speedway with six straight top-ten finishes, finishing as high as second in the running order. Haas earned 11 top-ten finishes at Lincoln Speedway, three of which inside the top-five.

Cory Haas Earns Runner-Up Finish at Lincoln Speedway;
Three Races in Three Days On Deck for the Barshinger 11C
By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, Pa. (April 4, 2016) - Cory Haas earned his highest finish of the season thus far on Saturday evening, April 2; surviving a wild, 25-lap main event while charging forward from sixth on the feature grid to finish second at the "Fabulous" Lincoln Speedway. The York, Pennsylvania, native now has a total of four top-ten finishes at the Abbottstown oval, including his recent top-five performance, and has climbed from ninth in the track championship standings to seventh; only 80 points behind current championship leader Freddie Rahmer. Cory Haas qualified for the 25-lap feature program with a third place finish during his respective heat race.

"I'm not sure we were a second place car, but we kept our nose clean and managed to move forward," explained Cory Haas. "Sometimes you just have to keep making consistent laps and keep yourself out of trouble and you'll manage to move forward. I can't thank my guys enough for their hard work. We've been recording some solid finishes so far this year. We need to make a few more adjustments and I think we'll be in a position to win races."

Other recent highlights for Cory Haas and the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., No. 11C team include a pair of top-ten finishes at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on March 18 and March 25. Haas finished sixth during both programs, each equalling his best performance of the season at the world famous paperclip.

Up next on the tentative schedule for Cory Haas and the Mike Barshinger-owned operation is a trio of Central Pennsylvania sprint car programs, beginning with action back at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, April 8. The Central Pennsylvania triple-header will continue with a visit to the Lincoln Speedway on Saturday evening, April 9, followed by a trip to Susquehanna Speedway near York Haven on Sunday, April 10. The potential triple-header weekend has not yet been set in stone. Confirmed plans for this Friday through Sunday will be determined later in the week..

"We have a game plan set for the weekend, but we aren't exactly sure about Sunday yet," said Cory Haas. "It will depend on how things go on Friday and Saturday. If we have solid finishes on Friday and Saturday, we may venture over to Susquehanna Speedway on Sunday. I can't thank my crew enough for what they do for this team. We have a lot of dedicated sponsors and supporters that put a lot of heart into this program. No matter if we race three times, or once, we'll head into the weekend ready to race."

Cory Haas will enter his potential three-race weekend eighth in the current Hoseheads Central PA Point Standings; only 14 points out of the top-five.

Cory Haas Eager for Lincoln Return After Recent Top-Ten
By Fully Injected Motorsports:

YORK, Pa. (March 10, 2016) - After what turned out to be a tough start to the 2016 season, finishing 20th during the annual Icebreaker 30 on Sunday, February 28, York's own Cory Haas would rebound and earn a tenth place finish during his second Lincoln Speedway start of the season on Sunday, March 6. The pilot of the familiar Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., No. 11C would have to earn his top-ten performance the hard way; rallying forward from a ninth row starting position in just 25 circuits. Haas was forced to start 17th on the afternoon feature grid after finishing sixth during heat race competition. A quick, but narrow surface left conditions difficult for passing.

"The Icebreaker was not a great day for us...we wanted to put that one behind us immediately" Cory Haas explained, "Our second start of the year went much better. The car was a lot easier to handle and we found some speed; just all around more comfortable, for sure. We drew a bad pill, so that put us behind all afternoon a little bit. Tough to pass early on, but we did everything we could. I'm proud of my team though; we battled back during the entire program and salvaged a top-ten. Anxious to try again this weekend."

Cory Haas will make his return to Lincoln Speedway this Saturday afternoon, March 12. The second generation racer will enter the program 14th in the current track championship standings. Haas finished sixth in the 2015 Lincoln Speedway track championship chase on the strength of six top-five and 13 top-ten finishes.

"Hopefully we can put ourselves in a little better starting position for the feature this weekend" Haas said, "We want to get that first win of the season."

Haas Highlights 2015 Season with Kimmel Memorial Victory
Finishes Inside Top-Ten in Lincoln and Williams Grove Championship Chases

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (November 8, 2015) - Cory Haas ended his 2015 campaign with plenty to talk about. The York, Pennsylvania, native finished well inside the top-ten in two separate track championship chases in central Pennsylvania, highlighted with a sixth place finish in the final Lincoln Speedway standings, ending the year with six top-five and 13 top-ten finishes.

Haas, pilot of the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., #11C, 410 sprint car, finished seventh in the final Williams Grove Speedway championship chase, bettering his 11th place finish from 2014. The former 358 sprint car phenom earned his lone 410 feature victory of 2015 at the Williams Grove Speedway half-mile, racking up nearly $4,000 during the annual Billy Kimmel Memorial on Sunday, September 6.

Cory Haas earned one top-five and two top-ten finishes against the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions in 2015. A tenth place finish with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series during the National Open at Williams Grove Speedway would officially wrap up the season for Haas, bettering most of the 48 teams entered for action. Haas earned his way into the $50,000-to-win main event with a second place finish during heat race competition. The top-ten performance was earned after starting on the inside of row seven.

Despite periods of "up and down" results for the Barshinger team, Haas is satisfied with his season and is already looking forward to 2016.

"Things went pretty well for us this season...we still have room for improvement" said Cory Haas, "I'm proud of my team and everyone involved. I have a great group who dedicate themselves to this race car. We were competitive all year, just some tough breaks in between. We'll take the next few months and rebuild for next year. Our plan will be similar - focus our schedule mainly around Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. I just want to thank Mike Barshinger and the entire crew for the opportunity, as well as my family. We are already looking ahead to next year. Hopefully the winter months go fast."

Cory Haas is currently tenth in the Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars presented by Hoseheads.com point standings with only one race remaining. The second generation sprint car driver finished 11th in the Hoseheads.com Central PA standings in 2014.

News regarding the 2016 season will be released in the near future. A similar schedule as 2015, including regular visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, will be followed.

Cory Haas Captures Kimmel Memorial; Tuscarora 50 Next!
First Port Royal Appearance In Nearly Five Years

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (September 9, 2015) -  For the first time in nearly five years, Cory Haas will enter competition at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. The recent "Billy Kimmel Memorial" winner at Williams Grove Speedway will make the near 90 minute trek north from his York, Pennsylvania home and participate in the annual Tuscarora weekend at Port Royal's half-mile, featuring back-to-back UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions programs. The pilot of the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., #11C has been on a recent hot streak in central Pennsylvania, earning three consecutive top-ten finishes at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, including a victory on Sunday, September 6. Cory Haas hopes to keep that success alive this weekend and claim a large chunk of the $71,000 purse up for grabs during the UNOH All Star doubleheader.

"I think the last time we were at Port Royal is 2010 or 2011...I honestly can't remember" said Cory Haas, "We are definitely due for a trip back up there. Things have been going pretty well for us lately. We've been strong the last month...finding speed where we had some problems before. Really happy to get a win last week. I have a lot of great people who help out with this race team and a lot of great supporters who keep us going up and down the road. I'm happy to get a win for them."

The "Tuscarora 50" weekend at Port Royal Speedway will ignite on Friday evening, September 11, with the "Night Before The 50" worth $5,000. Action resumes on Saturday, September 12, with the 50-lap, $12,000-to-win, "Tuscarora 50" main event. Each evening will feature a full racing program.

Cory Haas earned a victory during his most recent main even start; capturing the "Billy Kimmel Memorial" at Williams Grove Speedway on Sunday, September 6. Haas made the winning move with less than two laps remaining, surging ahead for a sixth-career Williams Grove Speedway victory and his first of the 2015 season. The former Williams Grove Speedway "358" champ actually swept the "Billy Kimmel Memorial" program, winning his respective heat race before claiming the $3,800 top prize.

"We've had other opportunities to win this season" explained Haas, "Just had a lot of tough luck keeping that from happening. We don't have a ton of experience at Port Royal, but we'll work as hard as we can to get another win."

Cory Haas Enters Weekend with Big Momentum Boost
Earns Runner-up Finish at Lincoln on August 22

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (August 27, 2015) - The 2015 season will continue for Cory Haas this Friday and Saturday with a pair of events back on the central Pennsylvania circuit. Haas, driver of the familiar Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., #11C, will revisit Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway this Friday and Saturday; routine stops for the York native. Action begins at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, August 28, followed by a trek to the Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, August 29. Haas will enter the weekend with a recent top-ten finish at each of his upcoming destinations.

"We've been fast the last few weeks" said Cory Haas, "Still a few things we need to work on. We have some trouble getting the race started. Once we get rolling, we can pass cars and work our way toward the front...getting to that point is where we struggle. We had a great opportunity to earn three top-ten finishes last weekend but our msd box went bad on us while running fifth during the second feature at Williams Grove. We'll keep working and try to end our season on a high note."

Cory Haas finished sixth during the first of two, 20-lap main events at Williams Grove Speedway last Friday evening, August 21. While running inside the top-five during the second 20-lap program, Haas was forced to retire after an MSD box malfunction. The former "358" champ would highlight his recent weekend with a runner-up performance during "BAPS Night" at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, August 22; he started seventh.

The Barshinger/Haas #11C team currently sits inside the top-ten in two different track championship hunts. Six top-five and 12 top-ten finishes during "410" competition at Lincoln Speedway puts Haas third in their current track title chase. Haas will enter the weekend eighth in the Williams Grove Speedway point standings.

"Always ready to get back to the track" explained Cory Haas, "It's hard to believe that we are already on the downhill portion of the season. Still plenty of racing left on our schedule and still plenty of time to get a few wins. Everyone works hard and I appreciate what this team does for me. They deserve a win soon so I'll work to make that happen."

Cory Haas Looks for Fresh Start after Tough Speedweek
$5,000 Up for Grabs at Lincoln on July 11th

By Fully Injected Motorsports

York, PA (July 8th, 2015) - Cory Haas will return to his normal schedule this weekend in central Pennsylvania; making routine visits to the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. Haas, driver of the familiar Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., Thornton Chevrolet, no. 11C ‘410’ sprint car, will move into the upcoming weekend with intentions to ‘start fresh’ after a few disappointing Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek appearances.

“Just a tough few nights for us” said Cory Haas, “We struggled some. Had some motor problems along the way and that didn’t help us. We did have a pretty solid night at Hagerstown on Wednesday when we ran sixth. That was our best finish of speedweek. We’ll put those nights behind us and move ahead.”

Cory Haas and the ‘11C’ team will jump start their upcoming weekend at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday night, July 10th. The world famous half-mile dirt oval will host a regular program for the ‘410’ sprinters; offering $3,600 to the winner plus lap money and other incentives. Haas is currently seventh in the Williams Grove Speedway track championship standings. The York, Pennsylvania native is still searching for his first ‘Grove’ win of the season. Haas finished second at the speedway during feature action back on May 29th.

Cory Haas will make his way to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, July 11th. It is ‘National Fallen Firefighters Night’ in the Pigeon Hills; honoring the late Brandon Little. A $5,000 top prize is up for grabs at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night. Haas will enter the program well inside the top-five of the current Lincoln Speedway track championship standings; earning four top-five and nine top-ten finishes along the way. Like Williams Grove, the Barshinger ‘11C’ team is still searching for their first win of 2015 at Lincoln Speedway.

“We’ll use the upcoming weekend as a new starting point” said Cory Haas, “We have all of the tools and the equipment to get to victory lane, we just need to find that little extra boost. We’ve been close this year; finishing second at Williams Grove Speedway a little while back. Hopefully we can get that one extra position this weekend.”

Cory Haas On A Roll Heading Into 'Dirt Classic Qualifier’
Earns Back-to-Back Top-Five Finishes on May 29th/30th

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (June 1st, 2015) - Cory Haas and the Barshinger ‘11C’ operation earned two consecutive top-five finishes during the recent weekend in central Pennsylvania; gaining valuable momentum before entering a very important weekend in ‘Posse Country.’ Haas, who now finds himself eighth in the current central Pennsylvania sprint car standings, will attempt to cash in his momentum this Saturday night during the annual ‘Dirt Classic Qualifier,’ and earn himself a free ticket into the ‘big dance’ on September 26th worth $20,000.

“We were close” said Cory Haas, “Feels good to get a few solid finishes...momentum is a big part of this deal...allows us to stay positive and motivates us to keep working hard...we just finished this new Triple X car on Friday and it was pretty good all weekend...hopefully we can keep things going in the right direction this Friday and Saturday and get to victory lane...Saturday would be an awesome time to get that first win.”

Cory Haas finished second during feature action on Friday evening, May 29th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The York, Pennsylvania native led nearly half of the 25-lap main event, but would surrender the top spot to eventual winner Greg Hodnett with less than two laps to go. Haas would hang on for second; resulting in his best performance of the 2015 season at the Williams Grove Speedway. He’ll return to the world famous half-mile dirt oval this Friday night, June 5th for a regular program. Haas is currently fifth in the 2015 ‘410’ sprint car track championship chase.

The Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., Thornton Chevrolet, Stone Grille Taphouse, 11C team would earn their second consecutive top-five finish of the recent weekend on Saturday evening, May 30th at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Cory Haas would finish fifth during the 25-lap main event, also earning a heat race victory in the process. Haas is well inside the top-five of the current Lincoln Speedway track championship standings, with three top-five and eight top-ten finishes to his credit.

“It was a pretty good weekend” said Cory Haas, “The car was working good, just a little tight in some areas where we didn’t need to be...we were probably a little better than fifth at Lincoln on Saturday...was running third at one point and just lost the handling a little bit...can’t thank the guys enough...everyone works hard and that keeps us at the track every weekend...we have a big one coming up this Saturday so hopefully we can qualify well and put ourselves in a position to get a win.”

After his trip to Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, June 5th, Cory Haas and the ‘11C’ team will return to the Lincoln Speedway in the Pigeon Hills on Saturday, June 6th for the ‘Dirt Classic Qualifier.’ The winner of the Saturday night program will guarantee themselves a starting position in the $20,000-to-win Second Annual ‘Dirt Classic’ at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, September 26th. The qualifier this weekend will award $7,000.

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (May 21st, 2015) - Despite the recent weekend ending quicker than expected, Cory Haas and the Barshinger ‘11C’ team are set to return to competition this Friday evening, May 22nd. Haas, who made contact with the Williams Grove Speedway turn three guardrail during World of Outlaws qualifying on May 15th resulting in a destroyed race car, will rejoin the ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ for the annual charity event this Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway. Cory Haas finds himself sixth in the current Williams Grove Speedway track championship chase as he continues to hunt down that first win of 2015.

“It was a pretty hard hit” said Cory Haas, “I don’t remember exactly what happened...I just remember the car turning to the right pretty hard like something broke...I had an opportunity to watch it online and it was a lot worse than what I thought...the safety features we have now in these cars are incredible...allows us to walk away from stuff like that and I am thankful for it...regardless, we are ready to go...we were ready to go the next day but the rain came...we’ll shake off the weekend and try to get back in our rhythm beginning this Friday.”

Cory Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., Thornton Chevrolet, no. 11C ‘410’ sprinter, will visit the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, May 23rd. The annual ‘Hilly Rife Memorial’ is on tap in the Pigeon Hills.  Haas, a former multi-time ‘358’ sprint car track champion at the Lincoln Speedway, currently sits third in the ‘410’ track championship standings. The York, Pennsylvania native has accumulated two top-five and six top-ten finishes at the Abbottstown oval thus far this season. Like at Williams Grove Speedway, Haas is still searching for that first Lincoln victory of 2015.

Cory Haas Ready for Busy Next Few Weeks!
Outlaws Invade PA for First Time in 2015 Next Wednesday

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (May 4th, 2015) - Cory Haas will use the upcoming weekend as a last minute warm up to help prepare for the first ‘Outlaws’ Pennsylvania invasion of 2015, which begins next Wednesday, May 13th at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Haas, who is currently 8th in the central Pennsylvania sprint car standings, will visit the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway this Friday and Saturday, May 8th & 9th; finalizing adjustments and car preparations in hopes of defending home dirt against the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, and potentially earn a career-first World of Outlaws victory.

“It will be a busy next few weeks” said Cory Haas, “There’s always a lot of hype when the Outlaws come to town...makes local teams want to work harder to try and beat those guys...we’ve been pretty good this year...before this past weekend, we earned like 10 or 11 top-ten finishes in a row so that helped with our momentum big time...we’ll see what happens this weekend... hopefully we can figure out a few things to use when the Outlaws get here next week.”

Cory Haas will join the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for three separate programs over a four day time period at two different Pennsylvania venues. The ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’ will visit the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday evening, May 13th to ignite their first run through the ‘Keystone State.’ The national travelers will land at the Williams Grove Speedway near Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday and Saturday, May 15th & 16th. Haas, driver of the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., Thornton Chevrolet, no. 11C ‘410’ sprint car, has never won a World of Outlaws main event, but has been close. The York, Pennsylvania native rallied from 17th to 4th during the 2012 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series visit to Lincoln Speedway.

“We want to beat those guys” said Cory Haas, “I guess that has always been one of our goals...time trials play such an important role...if we time well and put ourselves in a good position, then we definitely have a shot...a lot of things have to go our way...we’ve been close so we’ll see.”

Williams Grove Speedway will host an ‘Outlaw Tune Up’ on Friday, May 8th featuring a full program for the ‘410’ sprint cars including qualifying time trials. Haas currently sits fifth in the Williams Grove Speedway ‘410’ track championship standings. Lincoln Speedway will host a regular program of racing on Saturday, May 9th. The Barshinger/Haas ‘11C’ team find themselves third in the current Lincoln track championship chase; on the strength of two top-five and six top-ten finishes. Cory Haas Charges to Fifth During Lincoln ‘Icebreaker’
Back to Work in the Pigeon Hills on March 21st

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (March 17th, 2015) - Cory Haas mixed patience with experience during Lincoln Speedway’s ‘Icebreaker 30’ on Sunday, March 15th, and rallied fifteen positions during feature competition to secure his first top-five finish of the 2015 season. Haas, a regular at the Abbottstown, Pennsylvania oval and a top-five finisher in the 2014 Lincoln Speedway track championship standings, started the 30-lap/$4,000-to-win ‘Icebreaker 30’ main event from the outside of the tenth row; surviving a marathon of cautions, red flags and a fuel stop to secure a fifth place performance. Haas and the Michael Barshinger Builders, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., ‘11C’ team hope to use their new dose of momentum wisely, and work towards the 2015 Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ track championship.

“It was a wild afternoon to say the least” said Cory Haas, “It was pretty tough to pass in the heat race...ended up seventh in our heat so we had to run the consi..made it through the consi but had to start pretty far back in the ‘A’...we just kinda kept our nose clean and stayed out of trouble...advancing that many positions and getting a top-five felt pretty good...hopefully we can use this momentum to our advantage...we’ll come back next week and try to get ourselves a little closer to the front.”

There were 30 ‘410’ sprint cars signed in for competition at the Lincoln ‘Icebreaker 30.’ Greg Hodnett was the main event winner.

Cory Haas will be back in action this Saturday evening, March 21st at the Pigeon Hills venue. Lincoln Speedway will utilize a 6PM starting time, with the ‘358’ late models joining the ‘410’ sprints for their first evening card of the 2015 season. "The Icebreaker" On Deck for Cory Haas
Business As Usual for Haas in 2015
By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (February 17th, 2015) - Like so many other racers in the region, Cory Haas and the Michael Barshinger owned ‘11C’ operation will begin their 2015 central Pennsylvania campaign at the Lincoln Speedway ‘Icebreaker 30.’ Haas, a former four-time ‘358’ sprint car track champion at the Pigeon Hills oval, will join Pennsylvania’s finest ‘410’ sprint car teams at the Lincoln Speedway season opener for an opportunity to kick-start the new year with a $4,000 victory. The York, Pennsylvania native will look to improve on last year’s ‘Icebreaker 30’ feature finish. Haas had to settle for a ‘DNF’ after early race contact with the outside wall. The 2015 Lincoln Speedway ‘Icebreaker 30’ season opener was originally scheduled for this Saturday, February 21st, but was just recently canceled due to weather. Haas and the rest of the “Pennsylvania Posse” will try again next Saturday in Abbottstown.

“We are ready to get the year started” said Cory Haas, “We have been working hard this offseason trying to get everything ready to go for the opener; whenever that will be...hopefully Mother Nature can cooperate a little bit and allow us to race...last year was not one of our best years, but we learned from that...the team stays motivated and we keep working forward...hopefully we can get some good finishes right from the start and build some momentum...our game plan hasn’t really changed too much; racing at Williams Grove and Lincoln every weekend...hopefully get a few more wins and keep ourselves in the point chase...I can’t thank our sponsors and Mike Barshinger enough...we’ll see what happens.”

Just like in 2014, Cory Haas will focus his 2015 schedule around weekly competition at the Williams Grove Speedway (PA) and Lincoln Speedway (PA); chasing career-first ‘410’ sprint car track championships at both facilities. Haas also has plans to enter a select number of Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek events outside of the normal Williams Grove and Lincoln stops including Hagerstown Speedway (MD) and Path Valley Speedway Park (PA). The pilot of the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., no. 11C ‘410’ sprinter ended his 2014 central Pennsylvania campaign with one victory; finishing tied for eleventh in the final central Pennsylvania standings. Haas ended his 2014 Williams Grove Speedway season eleventh in the final standings, while finishing fourth in the final Lincoln Speedway track championship point chase.

Haas Enters Hilly Rife Memorial Third in Lincoln Standings;
Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedway On Deck for Barshinger/Haas ‘11C’

By Fully Injected Motorsports PR

York, PA (May 22nd, 2014) - Cory Haas’ 2014 racing campaign will resume this Friday and Saturday, May 23rd and 24th; once again involving visits to two of central Pennsylvania's most notorious racing facilities. Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., Thornton Chevrolet, Tailgaters Grill & Drafthouse, no. 11C ‘410’ sprinter, will venture to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday night, May 23rd; all before making his typical visit to the Lincoln Speedway near Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, May 24th. The York, Pennsylvania native has been near the top of the podium on a few occasions during the early parts of the season; but still has yet to find victory lane. The Haas/Barshinger duo hope to gain some valuable momentum this weekend, and earn that first win of 2014 in ‘Posse’ country.

Williams Grove Speedway will host its annual charity event this Friday night, May 23rd. The ‘Diamond Series’ program will use a time trial format, and will award $4,000 to the ‘410’ sprint car main event winner. Cory Haas, who sits 24th in the current Williams Grove Speedway track championship standings, is a former ‘Diamond Series’ main event winner at ‘The Grove,’ and will look to repeat that feat this Friday night. Haas is a former Jack Gunn Memorial winner at the world-famous half-mile oval; earning the victory in 2012.

Cory Haas will enter Saturday night’s program at the Lincoln Speedway well inside the top-five of the current track championship standings. The former four-time ‘358’ sprint car track champion sits third (3rd) officially in the rankings; on the strength of one (1) top-five finish and five (5) top-ten finishes. Although Haas still remains winless at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway in 2014, the strong effort has been noticeable. The former ‘speedweek’ winner at the Pigeon Hills oval finished second (2nd) during feature action back on April 5th, and has been a top-five point contender in the standings since the season started. The Hilly Rife Memorial is on deck at Lincoln Speedway; giving Cory Haas a perfect reason to break his winless spell.

The Michael Barshinger ‘11C’ team will enter the upcoming weekend eighteenth (18th) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL CENTRAL PA SPRINT CARS Presented by HOSEHEADS point standings with 99 points. Cory Haas, a former eight-time Williams Grove Speedway/Lincoln Speedway ‘358’ sprint car track champion, completed the 2013 season twelfth (12th) in the final Central Pennsylvania standings. Williams Grove Opener and Lincoln On Deck for Cory Haas
75th Anniversary Williams Grove Opener Highlights Upcoming Weekend Schedule
By Fully Injected Motorsports

York, PA (March 26th, 2014) - The world famous Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania will open it’s doors for the first time in 2014 this Friday evening, March 28th; welcoming back racers and race fans alike for their 75th Anniversary ‘Opening Night’ celebration. The Friday evening program will showcase all of Central Pennsylvania’s finest ‘410’ and ‘358’ sprint car competitors; including York, Pennsylvania native Cory Haas. Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., Thornton Chevrolet, Tailgaters Grill & Drafthouse, no. 11C ‘410’ sprinter again in 2014, is a former winner at the Williams Grove Speedway half-mile dirt oval; and looks to make a return to victory lane this Friday. A stout field of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ representatives are expected to be signed in for action for the marquee program; with a $3,600 pay day on the line.

Cory Haas is certainly no stranger to Williams Grove Speedway; earning four (4) ‘358’ sprint car track championships at the half-mile over the course of his young career. The pilot of the familiar Mike Barshinger owned no. 11C ‘410’ sprinter earned one (1) victory at the speedway in 2013 and ended his 2013 Williams Grove Speedway season eleventh (11th) in the final ‘410’ track championship standings. Haas will enter the Williams Grove Speedway gates on Friday tied for 23rd in the current Central Pennsylvania sprint car standings. An opening day ‘DNF’ at the Lincoln Speedway is mostly responsible for that early season stat. A victory on March 28th would do nothing but benefit that current statistic.

The racing weekend will continue for Cory Haas on Saturday evening, March 29th at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The Pigeon Hills facility will host the ‘410’ sprinters, along with the Super Sportsman and Legends, for a full ‘regular’ night of points racing. Haas has two (2) starts at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway already in 2014; earning one (1) top-ten finish. The former multi-time ‘358’ sprint car track champion at Lincoln finds himself 13th in the current Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ track championship standings. Haas will be chasing the track championship at both the Lincoln Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway in 2014.
